Clickument is built for clarity, evidence, and precision. This policy explains what data is handled by the Clickument Chrome extension and how it is used.
Clickument does not collect browsing history, analytics data, tracking information, or advertising identifiers. The extension does not monitor websites visited by users.
Workflow steps, scenario names, screenshots, and related documentation data are stored locally in the user’s browser using Chrome storage APIs. This data remains on the user’s device unless the user explicitly exports it.
Screenshots captured using Clickument are stored locally within the browser environment. Screenshots are not uploaded, transmitted, or stored on external servers.
Users may export documentation manually as Markdown or image files. Exported files are generated locally and saved directly to the user’s device. Clickument does not receive, access, or store exported content.
Clickument may communicate with a secure Google Apps Script endpoint for licence validation and optional feedback submission. These communications are limited to the information provided by the user (such as email address and licence key when restoring access). Browsing activity, screenshots, and workflow content are not transmitted.
Payments for the Lifetime Unlock are processed securely by Stripe. Clickument does not collect, store, or process credit card or payment information.
Clickument requests only the minimum Chrome permissions necessary:
ActiveTab – to capture a screenshot of the currently visible browser tab when the user requests it.
Storage – to save scenarios and settings locally in the browser.
Downloads – to export Markdown files and screenshots to the user’s device.
Google Apps Script host access – to validate licence keys and process optional feedback submissions.
The Clickument extension does not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, behavioural analytics tools, or third-party marketing scripts.
